The Alpenrose is a warm and friendly country inn. It's located in southern Vermont in a quiet yet easy-to-reach location less than 10 minutes from the Stratton and Bromley ski areas, 15 minutes from Magic Mountain and 30 minutes south of the slopes of Okemo. No matter what time of year you visit us, we'll start your day with our hearty country breakfast. Fresh baked breads and muffins, locally made bacon & sausage, eggs, pancakes - the works! For those who love shopping, Manchester with its fantastic stores and outlets and the picturesque New England villages of Weston, Grafton, Chester, and Arlington are all only minutes away. Antiquing in this region almost always brings pleasant surprises as there are hundreds of locations along VT routes 7, 30, 11, and 100. There is also an abundance of excellent restaurants just a few minutes from the Alpenrose. In Winter the downhill skiing opportunities are outstanding. But if cross-country skiing and/or snowshoeing is for you, we have over 15 kilometers of groomed ski trails. Or you can break your own trail through areas of the Green Mountain National Forest. All of this is free and just out the back door. In Spring & Summer there are three outstanding golf courses less than 15 minutes from the Inn. Take a day hike on the Appalachian Long Trail or spend a wild day at Bromley Mountain's Alpine Slide, Big Splash water slide and Thrill Zone fun park. Open in summer and in fall, the Long Trail & Bromley are both less than 10 minutes away. If you prefer water sports you may fly fish the famous Battenkill River or one of several magnificent mountain lakes nearby. Canoeing and kayaking opportunities abound. Then of course there is Vermont's spectacular Fall Foliage which is all around you in the southern heartland of Vermont. We are ideally situated for walks or drives to take in the magnificant colors. Anytime of year ... for those who just have the desire to leave the stress, the noise and the every-day assaults behind for a while at the Alpenrose Inn you'll enjoy quiet solitude, breath clean air, and appreciate the peace that is Vermont.

Come as Guests, Stay as Friends, Return as Family! The Innkeepers Kami, Kevin, and Emily Golembeski with their two Labrador Retreivers welcome every guest with open arms. We enjoy offering our guests a clean, friendly, quiet, home-like environment for your visit to Vermont. Meet Your Hosts Meet Kami and Kevin Golembeski, the innkeepers of the Bromley View Inn. Kami and Kevin purchased the Bromley View in June 2005 after a long search for the right property. Kami and Kevin met each other when they were in high school. At that time Kevin told Kami that some day he was going to own his own business and he thought that an Inn would be perfect. Kevin was born and raised in Webster, NY and went to school at McQuaid Jesuit High School where the foundation of hard work and dedication was instilled in him. At the recommendation from a good family friend and mentor, Kevin went to the Rochester Institute of Technology and graduated with a B.S. degree in Food, Hotel, & Resort Management. Aftergraduation, Kami and Kevin married and moved to Vermont where Kevin worked for American Skiing Co. Because of his drive and excellent work with ASC Kevin was quickly promoted to Director of Domestic and International Tour and Travel Sales for the ASC Eastern Resorts. Kevin also enjoys golf and will gladly show anyone the areas many golf courses. Kami on the other hand has a much different background. Kami grew up in Williamson, NY, a small farming community in upstate NY. After graduating from high school, Kami went to Keuka College and graduated with a degree in Occupational Therapy. Kami’s love for healing also moved her to become a Massage Therapist. She has worked in rehab centers, chiropractic offices and schools. Kami also enjoys skiing, snowshoeing, gardening and quilting. In fact, you can view many of Kami’s quilts on display throughout the Inn. Emily Golembeski was born and raised for her first 12 years in Fairport, NY. Emily came to live with Uncle Kevin and Aunt Kami perminently in May 2012. She has been a lovely addition to the innkeeping family. She is eager to meet, greet, and give alpaca tours to anyone who is interested. She will be attending School, so tours are only allowed on the weekends during the school year. Kami and Kevin share their home with many four legged "kids". One beautiful black lab and yellow lab, the namesake of the Labrador Lounge. Oregon (a.k.a. O’dog) and Ellery, both would be happy to escort you to your room. We also have grown in our number of Alpacas. Our alpaca business, Snow Angel Alpacas is a working breeding and fiber farm. We have a Suri Alpaca and many roating Huacaya with names such as Charlene, Layla, Madigan, Ultimate Reign, Rocky and Derby. The Suri came to us in September 2006 and the Huacayas came to us in May and October 2007, and continue to change in numbers as we have more babies and sell more breeders. They truly add to the atmosphere of our Inn. We thank you for taking the time to get to know us and we are looking forward to your visit to the Bromley View Inn and getting to know you and your family. Best Wishes, Kami and Kevin Golembeski

Shearer Hill Farm B&B is a small working farm and Vermont bed and breakfast that's off-the-beaten-path, yet close enough to town to enjoy plenty of Southern Vermont attractions and events. B&B owners Bill & Patti will make you feel right at home and make every effort to ensure that you have a great time in Vermont. Delicious baked apples, for breakfast! We discovered several years ago that our guests absolutely love waking up in the morning, not only to the smell of freshly baked muffins and coffee, but to baked apples with our very own maple syrup. We use Vermont appleswhenever posssible, generally Early Macs because they ripen in mid-August through early September, which is perfect timing for our fall vacationers. Or, if our guests prefer a more tart apple to offset the sweetness of the maple syrup, we use Granny Smiths. We've perfected a recipe and baking process that results in a simply delicious breakfast. Best of all, when the weather cooperates, you can enjoy your Vermonter breakfast on the back deck, where you can listen to the cows mooing in the pasture. There's just something relaxing about the loud bellow of cows off in the distance. They're actually calling for breakfast too, waiting patiently for Farmer Bill to bring them their morning hay.

Whether showing you around your room, handing you a glass of wine or serving your breakfast, Bob and Linda manage to always be there to serve you and yet never interfere with that private peaceful moment which was the reason you came. After many years in the business, Bob and Linda have perfected making you feel at home in this very special inn. In the words of Linda, herself, “You need the Inn at Weston!” We couldn’t agree more.”
