The Brooklin Inn has entertained guests for generations. It is located in a small coastal village of friendly and creative people on Eggemoggin Reach in downeast Maine. The town center has a general store, post office, church, Morning Moon cafe, three Inns, library, sail loft, several galleries and an antique shop. WoodenBoat magazine and its associated boat school is headquartered in Brooklin while Center Harbor is just a short walk away. The nearness of Eggemoggin Reach and the general well-kept flavor of the town make Brooklin a beautiful spot to visit. The proximity to the historic communities of Blue Hill, Castine and Stonington make the Inn a centrally located place to stay while kayaking, boating or visiting the Blue Hill peninsula and Deer Isle. The Dining Room and Pub menu (open 7 days in summer, 5 days in winter) is eclectically organic and features organic produce and organic Maine-raised beef, lamb and poultry. Our specialty is fresh fish, caught in our waters. In short, "real food, classically prepared." The award winning wine list is four single spaced pages with many good wines cheap. Reservations are suggested. The Pub features steamers, Mussels, Oysters, clams, Haddock sandwiches, Guinness Beef stew, Cheesburgers... the best around, and pizza. Full upstairs menu available in the Pub. The Brooklin Inn has five comfortable bedrooms, three with private baths. Each room is carefully appointed. A full inn breakfast is served daily, complimentary to our guests. Cocktails, cappucino and confections are available from 4pm daily. It's all quite civilized and casual. Children are welcome but please leave your pets at home.

Tucked away on the peninsula of Hancock Point, The Crocker House Country Inn was built in 1884. Its quiet, out of the way location, fine dining and simple, cozy guestrooms, make the Inn a relaxing home-away from home from which to explore Acadia National Park and Downeast, Maine. Hancock Point is a small summer community, rich with history. Within easy walking distance are an octagonal library, the second smallest post office in the United States, a 100+ year old summer chapel, four clay tennis courts and the town dock. The Crocker House is best known for its cuisine. Breakfast is reserved for the Inn guests, but the dining room is open to the public from 5:30 p.m. on weekends in the spring and fall and seven days a week in the summer. The menu is ala carte, entrees are prepared to order. Breads, soups and desserts are made daily in our kitchen. To complement the meal we offer an extensive wine and beer list as well as a fully stocked bar. Reservations are requested. While the Crocker House does not overlook the water, it is bordered by Frenchman Bay on the south and east and the Skillings River to the west. On Hancock Point all roads lead to the water. Moorings can be reserved by guests arriving by water. The Point is perfect for walking, cycling and jogging.

In 2006, we discovered Lubec, Maine quite by accident and fell in love with the town, the people and the incredible natural beauty of the area. Within five days of arriving in Lubec, we bought a home on on Summer Street. The following summer, we purchased a historic sardine factory with its own wharf. It was our dream to preserve this historic building which is now 106 years old, while creating a modern comfortable Inn with both suites and apartments where guests can enjoy the moods of the sea, the friendliness of the town and the natural beauty which surrounds this most easterly town in the United States. We hope our guests adjust their watch to tide time, fall asleep to the sounds of the sea and wake up to the tranquility of a day beside the bay where a fresh catch from the sea will arrive right on our wharf while playful seals and whales swim nearby. Enjoy the freshest seafood delivered daily to our Wharf. We offer casual fine dining with a view of the water from every table. Enjoy the sunset from our deck. Magnificent Views of the Bay. Daily Seafood Specials and Unique dishes for the non-seafood lover Imaginative Wine List. Local beers. Lobster is our specialty. Seafood is also available for take out including fresh lobster, steamed lobster, fresh crab and lobster salad, steamers, fresh fish and scallops (when available.)  Visa and Master cards accepted.
