Welcome to Simmons Homestead Inn!
The only bed and breakfast in Hyannis Port that truly reflects the spirit of old Cape Cod, Simmons Homestead Inn was built in 1800 by Lemuel Simmons, a somewhat famous old sea captain. The inn was a private estate until 1988 when Bill took it over, renovated the main house and the barn into a great Cape Cod bed and breakfast, providing a warm, friendly, relaxing, and romantic atmosphere.
Rooms and Suites
There are 14 guest rooms at our centrally located, yet private Cape Cod B&B, with a two-bedroom suite set up just for families. Click on the Rooms & Rates button and see them all.
In the winter two bedrooms have working fireplaces, and we keep one going in the common room during wine hour and when you come back and just want to sit and read by the fire. You get a full breakfast in the mornings and Wine Hour in the evening and fruits and stuff all day long. You can also wander over to the Annex and check out the Billiard Room (pool hall to you city folk) downstairs and shoot a game or two. The Toad Hall Classic Sports Car Collection is part of the inn and is the largest on the East Coast and, as guests, you can go there FREE.
Pet Friendly Accommodations
The Simmons Homestead Inn is pet friendly, as Cape Cod is a great place to bring your dog. We are a dog-friendly inn, with all sorts of maps and handouts where you can take the pup to great beaches, ponds and walking trails – even in the Summer – and restaurants with outside seating that will allow dogs. If you are going out you can leave the dog in the room, like you would at home.
