The Captain David Kelley House is a romantic bed and breakfast on Cape Cod, 1/2 mile from the warm ocean beaches of Nantucket Sound. Our central location provides easy access to all Cape Cod attractions.
All that’s missing is you.

Rest from your journey and enjoy the vacation of your dreams.
Kick off your shoes and bury your toes in the warm Atlantic sand … be our guest at the Captain David Kelley House, a grand old Sea Captain’s home built in 1835 on historic Main Street in the heart of this quaint Cape Cod seaside village. Come, stay awhile … relax in the sunny manicured yard and gardens or take a leisurely stroll…

Historic Main Street is lined with sea captains’ homes, South Congregational Church circa 1717, The 1856 Country Store, the Centerville Historic Museum and the Centerville Public Library. Four Seas Ice Cream, featured on PBS, is right around the corner and beautiful Craigville Beach is a 10 minute walk from our door.

This charming Greek Revival home was built in 1835 by Sea Captain David N. Kelley and later sold to prominent Centerville citizen, Captain John Baker, Skipper of the “Pride of the Port.”
The two first-floor guest rooms are named in their honor. The remaining guest rooms are named after Captain and Mrs. Kelley’s children; Patience, Alexander, Rachel and Phebe.
A detailed historic restoration returned the Inn to its original classic character — a 19th century Cape Cod Sea Captain’s Home. Craftsmen and decorators installed crown moldings, historic wallpapers, antique oriental carpets, nautical art and lovely antiques. All of the inn’s major systems have been updated to ensure you a restful, comfortable stay.
