Captain Dave Chieffo is a professional Charter Captain, a year-round resident of Block Island, RI and the owner/operator of Block Island Fishing Guides, LLC. He has over 35 years of fishing experience in the Northeast & West Coast Florida. He is an active and successful tournament angler, as Captain of Team Triton/Mercury he led the team that holds the current Walmart FLW Striper Series Championship and Record. He is a USCG Licensed Master Captain ~ 100 Gross Registered Tonnage, with a commercial assistance towing endorsement.
He is an active seminar speaker with the American Sportfishing Association, published outdoor writer and has made several TV appearances as guest host on ESPN’s “Going Coastal” with Bryon Velvick, “Addictive Fishing” with Blair Wiggins (“Rocking The Block – Striper Action”, “Rocking The Block – Sharking”), “Hook The Future”, and “Northeast Angling TV”.
