About Our Inn
Our Bed and Breakfast is located in Orleans at the “elbow” of the Cape sitting high overlooking Pleasant Bay renowned for its sailing regattas. The Inn has two bright and airy lounges which take advantage of the magnificent views of the Bay. Each of the nine bedrooms and private bathrooms is individually designed and equipped with facilities expected by today’s modern traveler. Many of the bedrooms have bay views, while the others enjoy the view of the luscious gardens. Early morning coffee is served at 7:00am in the summer months. A true European Breakfast Buffet is served from 8:30am – 10:00am on the patio overlooking the bay or the garden. Each evening at 5:00pm “Sherry” is served in the lounge or on the patio.
The Little Inn has its own dock and sandy/pebbly beach to enjoy swimming, kayaking, fishing and sailing (moorings are available). Early risers can watch the magnificent sunrise; an added bonus can be watching the moon rise over the bay, which is just as spectacular. If you plan to visit in early fall, you can witness the harvesting of cranberries in the fields next door.
Close by are the charming villages of Chatham and Orleans with many fine and casual dining, jazz & music festivals, live theatre, art & shopping. We are also fortunate to be close by to several challenging public golf courses, bike trails, lakes & ponds for kayaking and many nature walks for bird watching.
And of course, just minutes away are some of the most spectacular beaches on both the Ocean and Bay side where one can observe the Grey & Harbor Seals in their natural habitat…
From here you can explore the rest of the Cape & Islands without having to change your Inn; you unpack and pack only once.
