Chelsea - Devil's Den
Our classic New England farmhouse was built in 1921 and offers a double-bed suite and two other double-bed rooms. Each furnished with antique beds covered with handmade quilts. Handwoven rugs are scattered across polished floors. Each room has clock radio, A/C, and private bathroom with shower.

Montpelier - Morse Farm Maple Sugaworks
They called it "Sinzibukwud"
The Morse ancestors who helped settle Central Vermont were taught how to tap maple trees by Native Americans. Hot Rocks were used to evaporate the sweet sap until only sugar or "sinzibukwud" remained. Pioneers could boil a year's supply of sugar thus making Americans self-sufficient in sugar production. Ben Franklin promoted massive sugar production in the Northeast to make the country less dependant on "foreign" sugar.

Rochester - Liberty Hill Farm Inn
There is always a warm welcome at Liberty Hill Farm. The farm is nestled between the White River and the Green Mountains. Hiking and cross country ski trails start at the front door. Trout fishing along the meadow's edge is superb. There is even a great little swimming hole, a perfect place for a bonfire in the evening while waiting for the stars to come out.
