Captain Grants, 1754
Captain Grant's 1754 is a National Historic Inn. It's handhewn beams, 7' wide staircase and restored character make this Inn exceptional. Old Mystic Inn
This picturesque country colonial is tucked away in the quiet hamlet of Old Mystic at the head of the Mystic River. The center chimney colonial was built in 1784 and formerly known as the Old Mystic Book Shop. In 1996 it was converted into an inn with rooms named for New England authors. Also, in 1988 a Carriage House was built to provide more rooms. Each of the rooms have queen size beds, some canopies, fireplaces and whirlpool tubs.
